Welcome to 7th grade Math with Mr. Salo. Below is a general list to help us all get ready for this year. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to stop in or call me during my prep hour from 11:25–12:10. I am also providing my e-mail address (gsalo@eskymos.com) for parents to contact me. Power School will be a tremendous resource to stay current on grades and progress through out the school year.

Materials needed

Pencils to work – NO pens please.

A three-ring binder for homework assignments, packets, and activities. A majority of assignments will be three-hole punched and are required to be in a binder until the chapter is completed.

Description of grading

30% of grade consists of individual homework assignments. Late assignments are calculated at 50% of the points earned, but will not be accepted any later than one day for reduced credit.

65% of grade is based upon tests and quizzes. Students will always be informed in advance of tests and quizzes.

5% of grade is taken from accumulated points for participation.
